SERVICE CHARACTERISTICS
In order to fully appreciate the characteristics of the Traveler’s Assistance Service let us imagine a log trip, say 1.000 km. The car breaks down in the middle of the road. In this situation, besides calling for mechanic aid, the member or any of the other passengers calls 0800-888-84253 and submits the necessary information to receive this service. Once the phone call is made, the situation is evaluated in accordance with the Operating Central and the needs of the party are determined. These may be the following:
LODGING
If the vehicle cannot be repaired within the same day, Traveler’s Assistance Service shall pay for the hotel expense for the beneficiaries, during the period of time the repair takes. In Argentina the limit is $ 70 (seventy pesos) per person per day; up to $210 (two- hundred and ten pesos) per person for the whole stay. In neighboring countries the limit is US$ 80 (eighty dollars) per person, per day; up to US$ 240 (two- hundred and forty dollars) per person for the whole stay.
TRANSPORTATION AND CONVEYANCE OF BENEFICIARIES
If the car can not be repaired within 72 hours, the option is that the travelers are taken to the address registered by the ACA member. In case they decide to continue the trip, the expenditure shall be covered altogether if the distance left is shorter than the one back home. On the other hand, when the car has already been repaired but must remain in a deposit, the Traveler’s Assistance Service shall be in charge of the expenditure up to a $ 150 limit. |

SPARE PARTS
If it is necessary to locate spare parts to fix the car in another area, Traveler’s Assistance Service shall take care of the expenditure it takes to search for the spare parts and have them delivered to the place where the vehicle will be repaired.
TRAVELING TICKET TO RECOVER THE VEHICLE
Once the car has been repaired, Traveler’s Assistance Service will pay for the traveling ticket for the member or an appointed person, in order to recover the vehicle. If the distance to cover is longer than 1.000 km, there shall be two traveling tickets available. |

>THINGS TO REMEMBER |
- The service is totally free and it is included in the social fee. It does not require any additional cost whatsoever.
- - To ask for assistance you must make a phone call immediately after the situation with the car has occurred.
- - This service includes all the passengers in the vehicle, up to the number of seat belts in it.
- - Travelers Assistance Service enables us to render a useful complement to our traditional mechanic aid and towing services.
- - The bases of the service are at entire disposition of the members and may be solicited at any of our ACA offices.

OTHER SERVICES
Substitute Vehicle. In case of theft, robbery or total destruction of the car (due to explosion, accident or flash of lightning) the member can count on a substitute vehicle for 48 hours.
Medical Care expenditure in neighboring countries. In the case of an accident in a neighboring country in which one or more passengers have resulted injured, they can count on primary medical care, transfer, specialist’s assistance, lab tests, emergency hospitalization, etc. up to US$ 500 in all.
Locksmith. This service is rendered in the cases in which it is impossible to enter the car and when it has been verified that the car keys are inside the locked vehicle, or they have been stolen (in which case a police report is necessary)
Driver Service. If the beneficiary is impeded to drive due to a severe or sudden acute disease, or because he or she has suffered an accident, a driver shall be sent to take the car back to the member’s reported address. |
